As the nations’ longest running independent comedy showcase The Lodge has not only nurtured the finest new talent but has also been visited by established stars over the years! Here are just a few of the hilarious ladies and gentlemen who have graced our stage…
Possibly the hottest comedy from export in Chicago in recent years Hannibal Buress was frequently on stage at The Lodge during his burgeoning stand up career and continues to tour nationally today.
One of our favorite ever guests at the Lodge Natasha Leggero subsequently went on to feature on Last Comic Standing and has performed her sassy brand of stand up on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, Last Call with Carson Daly!
TJ Miller started his comedy career as a cast member at The Lincoln Lodge and has since gone on to an illustrious career in TV and Film!
Chelsea made her Chicago headlining debut at The Lodge in 2012 and has since gone on to appear on Fox TV's hit comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
As one of our earliest cast members Kumail Najiani developed quickly into one of the smartest and funniest comedians on the Chicago scene. Since leaving Chicago Kumail has been seen on The Colbert Report, Michael and Michael Have Issues and is currently starring on TBS’ Franklin and Bash.
Kristen Schaal is a master of the absurd comedy we love at The Lodge! She first appeared at the Lodge in 2012 and has voiced some of your favorite characters in the Toy Story trilogy and on TV's Bob's Burgers.
From the moment Kyle Kinane hit our stage as a fresh-faced 20 something we knew he would develop into not only a hilarious comedian but also the somewhat “bleak, misanthropic” (London Evening Standard) 30-something we all know and love today! Kyle remains one of our favorite comics, most requested acts (and best buddies!) to this day!
Most folks know Fred Armisen from his hilarious Saturday Night Live characters but did you know that the character Fericito made his debut at the nation’s longest running independent comedy showcase? (Which is the Lincoln Lodge BTW…)
Cameron made her Lodge debut in 2006 and went on to become a cast lead and instrumental force in the growth of the show. She now appears on her own Seeso show Take My Wife.
The Lincoln Lodge and innovative, absurd comedy have always gone hand in hand….and no attributes could be more appropriate to describe…Neil Hamburger! Neil has been a frequent visitor to the room over the years and we are always excited to welcome back “America’s Funnyman”.
Aparna first appeared as a guest at the Lodge in 2010 but was back to make her first headline appearance in 2016! She has written for Late Night With Seth Meyers and Totally Biased with Kamau Bell.
Despite his appearances on The Late Show With David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Comedy Central Presents Dwayne Kennedy may be the best comedian you never heard of! A legend in Chicago comedy circles Dwayne counts The Lodge as one of his favorite places to perform and in return we revere him as one of our smartest, funniest comics!
