Alex Kumin

Alex Kumin did start her stand up comedy here at Lincoln Lodge and has continued to work in the comedy field for quite some time now. She continues to make her audience laugh even though some of the topics that she brought up are heavy. Not only is she able to bring to light these heavy social issues, she's able to make jokes about them whilst still bringing them up. Alex is also fantastic at transitioning between her skits and stories. Alternating between the more serious topics, to much lighter ones, keeping the atmosphere playful. 

Alex not only does stand up, but she even does classes of her own. Teaching women how to do stand up comedy, with these classes called “Feminine Comique”. And has even been featured on the Chicago Magazine.
