Amy Schumer

Amy Schumer became a comedian here at the Lincoln Lodge. When she is on the stage she takes her audience captive with her humor. She jokes about herself, clearly comfortable in her own skin, but she is also able to make bold jokes, talking about sex, gender, and body image. She also is able to discuss feminism in her jokes and talk about the double standards there are and more.

Amy is not only known as a comedian though. She is also a producer, director, writer, and the most important one of all, an actress. She has won 23 awards, but one of the most notable ones would be the Emmy she won which is called the; Outstanding Variety Sketch Series. She won it in 2015 for the movie “Inside Amy Schumer”.
