Kumail Nanjiani was born in Karachi, Pakistan but moved to the US to study in Iowa
(of all places). After graduating he moved to Chicago and quickly became a big name
(15 letters) on the local scene culminating in the creation of his one man show
"Unpronounceable" which played to sold-out shows of over 300 people a night. Kumail
was also nominated as comedian of the year at the 2006 Chicago Comedy Awards and has
since moved to New York, recently making his debut on MTV and also appearing on
America's longest running TV show "Saturday Night Live" while continuing to tour
and perform live nationally.
