The Stand-Up Seminary gives students the opportunity to learn the fundamentals necessary to write and perform standup comedy. The course is founded on the comedy principles of the critically acclaimed Lincoln Lodge, a national leader in cultivating and developing new comedy talent.

The five weekly sessions of the course will focus on joke structure, finding an attitude and persona, connecting with the audience, topical humor, and creating a cohesive set. The course will culminate in a student showcase at the Lincoln Lodge, and provide students with an opportunity to perform in front of a live audience.
