The Lincoln Lodge is hosting the first-annual Chicago Comedy Awards, a two-night tribute to the city's finest emerging stand-up comedians. Culled from a nominating panel consisting of passionate comedy lovers patronizing weekly comedy showcases throughout the city, the inaugural edition of the CCAs will bestow four awards: Best Comedian, Most Improved Comedian, Comedian's Choice and the Mark Sinclair Award for Most Innovative Comedian (named in honor of the late Time Out Chicago comedy editor). Congratulations to this year's nominees!

Chicago Comedy Awards weekend consists of two separate shows:
  • Thurs 2/15 at 9pm: The Chicago Comedy Awards Nominee Showcase in which many of this year's CCA nominees will be performing stand-up sets, featuring: Becky Garcia, Mike Bridenstine, Jared Logan, Tony Sam, Jared Logan, Kumail & David Angelo.
  • Fri 2/16 at 9pm: The Chicago Comedy Awards, a one-night only gala awards show presented in the Lodge's own inimitable style with plenty of laughs and tongue-in-cheek homages to some of the your favorite annual award shows! This is not only a night to see Chicago's top young comics, but also enjoy performances from white-hot sketch groups TEAM SUBMARINE, THE MIKE & DUANE SHOW and Second City's HANS HOLSEN, soon to be seen in the new Bob Odenkirk comedy, Let's Go to Prison.
Both CCA nights are hosted by one of the funniest and most innovative comedians to grace the Chicago scene today, KEN BARNARD (2nd-place winner of New York Comedy Festival's Andy Kaufman Award Contest).
